In over five seasons, Mad Men has fantastically recreated period restaurants (see some of that chronicled on Eater's Foodstuffs of Mad Men series). But on last night's episode "To Have and to Hold," Joan Harris (played by Christina Hendricks) says that she "made reservations at Le Cirque" in New York City. Which is impossible: the current season is set in 1968 and Le Cirque opened in 1974. Well, unless Joan has acquired the powers of time travel. Here's video:
